- TravelMap is a global map of travel videos from YouTube creators. Search by destination, filter by activity (hiking, food, drone, diving) or format (vlog, guide, cinematic), and watch with synced transcripts.
- How do videos end up on TravelMap?
- We ingest travel channels automatically, then extract a location for each video from its title, description, and transcript using a mix of gazetteers, NER, and an LLM fallback. Only successfully geolocated videos appear on the public map.
- Can I submit my own travel video?
- User submissions are on the roadmap. Once live, anyone will be able to suggest a video and a location; submissions go through a review queue before they appear on the map.

- Yes — TravelMap is free, with no ads and no premium tiers planned.
- What languages is TravelMap available in?
- The interface is being localised across many languages, with English as the source. Translations roll out as they are reviewed.
- Why are some videos missing?
- Videos only appear once we can confidently place them on the map. Videos without a clear location wait in a review queue and surface after they’re geocoded.
